The updated Tech 2 Kits are now available to the aftermarket from OTC. The genuine OEM scan tool loaded with authentic GM software means you have the same information as dealers. OTC now offers the genuine OEM GM MDI to the aftermarket. The GM MDI is a compact communication module that manages the transfer of data between a vehicle’s onboard ECU network and a PC. This tool allows the user to perform data transfer and Electronic Control Unit (ECU) reprogramming procedures using GM SPS software running on a laptop or PC. The General Motors MDI is also designed for future expandability, including upcoming diagnostic applications.
